Meekono is a for-profit social enterprise within the creative sector connecting wholesalers of premium African inspired handcrafted products with commercial buyers worldwide.
We streamline the sourcing process for boutiques & retailers, corporate gift buyers, interior designers, collectors, spas, hotels and on-sellers by pre-vetting and equipping sellers with the necessary skills to meet the demands of buyers.
Many buyers struggle to source quality products from Africa. We ease their struggle and make it more cost-effective and secure for them to explore, purchase and ship their orders.
We’re passionate about creating an equitable value chain that rewards producers and sellers fairly for their skills and efforts, encourages ethical and sustainable practices and promotes the unique and vibrant culture of Africa.
