It is a 2-in-1 platter made from soapstone. The attached small bowl on the rim of the larger bowl is intended to hold the dip while the rest of the bowl is big enough to hold your snacks

It has handles on the side so you can pick it up easily. And another great thing is it saves you on dishes, how about that?

Care Instructions

Please handle it with care, soapstone is fragile. Cleaning it is as easy as cleaning your regular utensils. We advise using cold water, a soft scouring sponge and soap when cleaning it.

To remove stubborn oily stains, soak in warm soapy water briefly. Do not soak your soapstone dip bowl in very hot water as it is delicate and it could crack.

Once clean, leave it out to dry completely before placing it away in storage or using it again.

Do not clean it in the dish washing machine.

How it's Made

We pride ourselves in bringing you luxurious home decor made from natural soapstone found in Kisii County in Kenya. Kenyan soapstone (Kisii soapstone) naturally comes in varied colors; mostly off-white/cream, pink, light brown, grey and black. Some soapstone blocks come with veins of different hues unevenly spread in it. While off-white and pink colored soapstone are softer and easier to work with, black soapstone is the hardest and rarest.

Please bear in mind as you place your order that all soapstone products have slight variations due to the nuances of natural stone. You'll not find any two soapstone pieces identical to each other.

Also products may have slight variation. Please understand that all our soapstone items are handmade and handmade items by nature have some inconsistencies.  We however guarantee thorough and quality finish.
