Vikapu Asili is Swahili name meaning NATURAL BASKETS. We are located in Ubungo riverside Dar_es_salaam, Tanzania. Vikapu Asili started in 2020. Our main goal is to provide and produce good natural items and to show the world our culture and natural of our traditional as Tanzania.  We are arts and handmade products. Vikapu Asili dealing with natural material like glass of miruru, bamboo such as mianzi, banana leaves called migomba leaves. Our products are lampshades, rugs famous known as mikeka, baskets, tablemats, vikapu in other name handbaskets, trays, stool, wall deco, standing shutter and so many. Womencraft is a social enterprise operating from Ngara, in the north-west of Tanzania.  Our mission is to foster a profitable business for women artisans in the post-conflict, tri-border area of Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda.  Our sustainable and socially oriented business model is focused on supporting the growth of women-led producer groups and connecting their artistry to the global marketplace.  We work with more than 600 women artisans, including refugee returnees from Burundi.
