- Crafted using locally sourced sisal, cow horn, and leather.
How It's Made Each mini-basket bag is hand-dyed and created in partnership with a women’s cooperative in Rwanda. The open basket design includes a hand-embroidered zip pouch, securely attached with a leather strap. The leather handle is hand-braided for a soft, comfortable grip. Our signature cow horn label ties everything together, giving each bag a distinctive look.
It takes more than 60 hours to make a single piece, involving multiple artisans who bring their expertise to each step. Slight variations in color make each bag one-of-a-kind.
Why It Matters: This bag is more than just an accessory—it’s a symbol of empowerment and skilled craftsmanship. By purchasing it, you’re supporting a community of Rwandan women artisans and celebrating sustainable, handmade design.
